D121-B Introduction to Product Design II
The course is a continuation of D120 Introduction to Product Design 1. It seeks to carry on with the introduction of fundamental principles in designing objects as marketable products, and the basic structure of the design process: empathizing with users, defining design problems, ideating for solutions, prototyping the concept, testing the product and launching to the market. The students will focus understanding the problems encountered with everyday objects, and creating solutions for them through the design process.

VC 151-A Digital Studio Arts (2425-02)
Utilizing technology in translating traditional methods of illustration and painting into a digital medium.

VC150 A - Animation (2425-02)
This course is designed to introduce the student to the field of computer animation. Primarily focused around one of the industry standard software for animation and motion graphics. It covers the core principles of animation and is intended in leaving a solid foundation and understanding of motion graphics and compositing theories and techniques.

TFA180 / Design Theory / Section B / 2024
The course seeks to deepen the understanding of students of the different theories and methodologies that constantly shapes and reshapes the landscape of product design as a mode of practice.

D124 / Materials 1 / Section B / 2024
The course seeks to introduce basic techniques in manipulating natural materials for the prototyping phase of the product design process.

D119.1 / Research Methods / Section C / 2024
On their final year in the product design program, students will be enganged in a final thesis project as a way to assess their
understanding and technical skills applied in the product design process.

D124 / Materials 1 / Section A / 2024
The course seeks to introduce basic techniques in manipulating natural materials for the prototyping
phase of the product design process.

TFA180 / Design Theory / Section A / 2024
The course seeks to deepen the understanding of students of the different theories and methodologies that constantly shapes and reshapes the landscape of product design as a mode of practice.

D194.1 SYSTEMS DESIGN
Designing systems for communities and businesses, eg. design of a
workplace (kitchen, office, etc.), Information within spaces (signages and directionals),
modular/collapsible furniture and storage systems, etc.

D120_A INTRODUCTION TO PRODUCT DESIGN 1
The course seeks to introduce to product design students the historical overview of design and its movements, the fundamental principles in designing objects as marketable products, and the basic structure of the design process: empathizing with users, defining design problems, ideating for solutions, prototyping the concept, testing the product and launching to the market.
