PS 160: Introduction to Political Dynamics
This is the basic course on political dynamics. It deals with the impact of society on politics and vice versa; political power and leadership; patterns of decision-making; political modernization, democratization, and development.

PS 11 - Introduction to Political Science A
What is politics? And how can we understand it? Political Science (PS) 11 introduces students to the discipline of Political Science. It explains the foundational concepts, theories and approaches that are essential to the study and analysis of politics and its dynamic context. It further delineates and discusses the types of political systems, regimes and institutional designs and provides ways of understanding how political institutions and processes develop and work. The course allows students to understand the dynamics, nature, and outcomes of politics – applying this knowledge to textbook and actual current cases and issues in “politics.”

Science, Technology, and Society is an interdisciplinary GE course that examines the past, present, and future of science and technology in society (including their nature, scope, role, and function) and the social, cultural, political, economic, and environmental factors affecting the development of science and technology, with emphasis on the Philippine setting. It uses local and practical examples to analyze and illustrate the dynamics between science and technology and society. The course is best taken at the junior or senior level.
